Our range of non-contact flow meters includes the use of radar / ultrasonic measurement systems for continuous influent and effluent flow measurement in partially filled round, rectangular and odd shaped conduits from DN100 upwards. Flow velocity is measured with doppler radar and liquid level with ultrasonic pulse echo. The volumetric flow is then calculated using Q=AV by converting the water level and conduit size to fluid cross-sectional area and multiplying this by the mean velocity. In addition to monitoring flow rate in sewage works, it can monitor industrial discharge, rainfall/storm water studies, inflow/infiltration studies and sewer system evaluations.
